Admitted as a solicitor in February 1989. Joined the firm in February 1986. Head of our Employment Law Department, and is a member of the Employment Lawyers Association. Has extensive experience in acting for Employers and Employees and has dealt with many complex cases, including the high profile cases of Franks v Reuters [2003] in the Court of Appeal, Rose v Key Communications in the Employment Appeal Tribunal, and Thomas-James & Others v Cornwall County Council & Others (in which he acted successfully for three of the nine Respondents). Also has considerable expertise in Alcohol Licensing and related matters.
