Joined Sternberg Reed in November 1991. John undertakes clinical negligence cases only and has dealt with cases on behalf of injured people since starting in the law in 1966. Experience of dealing with compensation claims for injured people ranging from minor injuries to maximum severity and brain injuries. Specialising in medical accidents since 1990. Associate of the Institute of Legal Executives. Member of the Lawyers Referral Panel for the Charity Action Against Medical Accidents (AvMA). Fellow of the Association of Personal Lawyers (APIL).  Supervisor of the Legal Services Commission Contract for clinical negligence cases.

John has a particular interest in birth injury cases having recovered millions of pounds in damages for brain damaged children.

John has been appointed as Deputy by the Court of Protection and deals with cases on behalf of people who are unable to manage their affairs. He is happy to provide statements to solicitors detailing the costs associated with Deputyships.
