Jayne was admitted as a solicitor in July 1998 and joined Sternberg Reed in January 2006.  Jayne is a member of the Law Society Clinical Negligence Accreditation Scheme (The Clinical Negligence Panel).  She is also a member of AVMA specialist solicitors Referral Panel.  She is also a member of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL). 

Jayne undertakes clinical negligence cases against GPs, dentists, NHS and private hospitals and doctors.  She conducts cases that cover all areas of medicine such as delays in diagnosis or misdiagnosis of conditions, negligent surgery and hospital care.  The cases vary from moderate injuries to catastrophic brain injuries where patients have been left unable to care for themselves or work again, where mothers have lost a child during childbirth or their child has been left with a severe birth injury, and cases where family members have died leaving partners and relatives that were dependant upon them for physical and financial support.
