Admitted as a solicitor in November 2003, prior to which he practiced as a Legal Executive for many years. Joined Sternberg Reed in April 1997.

Undertakes a variety of litigation and advisory work, with particular emphasis on housing, community care, social services and health law, prison law, and civil proceedings arising out of criminal matters.

Much of Neil’s work relates to public law - judicial review for all parties i.e. claimants, defendants, and interested parties/interveners.  He has dealt with a number of high profile cases in the Court of Appeal andHouse of Lords (now Supreme Court).

Neil is an experienced consumer adjudicator, having undertaken a number of independent adjudications.

Provides training for a national training organisation, as well as for local authorities and on internal and external and CPD accredited courses.
