Ben is Head of the firm’s Criminal Department. He qualified as a Solicitor in 1993 and specialises in the preparation of cases of a more serious and/or complex nature, such as fraud, homicide, hijacking, drugs trafficking and serious sexual offending, throughout courts in England and Wales. Ben has handled a number of high profile cases connected to media celebrities, sportsmen and politically sensitive issues. A feature of his practice has been the representation of foreign nationals before the courts in conjunction with lawyers of the client’s own nationality. He was rated in Chambers and Partners Guide to the UK Legal Profession 2009 as “an excellent generalist with extensive experience across a wide spectrum of criminal work”. From 2004-2009 Ben was a member and then senior member of the Legal Services Commission Peer Review Panel for Crime. He is recognised as a fraud supervisor by the Legal Services Commission Very High Cost Case Unit. He works from our Romford office.
